What next?

I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation to all new clients. This gives an opportunity for you to tell me a bit more about your difficulties and allows me to tell you a bit more about how I work and what approach I think might be helpful. At the end of this phone call I will offer to arrange a time to meet for a first appointment in person or online.

I usually spend around 6 sessions getting to know you and your history and thinking about how we can most helpfully understand your difficulties in order to help. I have a number of therapies that I draw on with individuals and families, including CBT and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing), and Systemic Family Therapy. I am a Systemic Practitioner and am working towards accreditation in EMDR.

For therapy sessions, I will be led by your needs in terms of how many sessions you need. If you have a limited budget and are only able to commit to a certain number of sessions we can consider what therapy goals might be realistic within this timeframe and work towards these. Individual therapy sessions are usually weekly, and couples and family sessions tend to be fortnightly or monthly.

Fees

Fees range from £110-£150 depending on the type of work we are doing. My fees are as follows:
